1KD Studios (One Thousand Dreams) is a creative label built to turn imagination into infrastructure. We develop original IP—stories designed to live as animated films, series, novels, and comics. Our work blends cinematic emotion with worldbuilding depth, and we’re building it transparently with a growing community of creators. If you’re a dreamer who can execute, you’ll fit right in.

Through our publishing division, we release novels, comics, and illustrated works born from the same universes we animate; connecting literature and visual storytelling as one ecosystem.

We refine, assemble the team, and move from development into production, frame by frame, draft by draft.

  • Discord is the main hub. That’s where we post updates, calls for collaborators, and early previews.

  • Yes. We’re always open to collaborating with writers, artists, editors, composers, animators, and influencers. Use the Collaborate page or email us with your portfolio.

  • It depends on the project and stage. Some roles are volunteer/portfolio-based early on; paid opportunities come as projects secure funding. We’ll always be transparent about expectations before you commit.

  • Yes. We are still looking for writers and creators to create original worlds that are apart of our portfolio. We will have more information on community showcases, prompts, and challenges soon as they are part of the ecosystem. We credit creators and spotlight standout work.
